1. Jeremiah 29:11 For
I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not
for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
God
wants me to succeed. Whenever I’m feeling stressed about my classes, or my major, or what
I’m going to do with my life, this verse calms me. I know through faith in God,
my life will not go wrong. Bad things may happen, and everything may not go as
I plan, but in the end, I can survive it all as long as I trust in God and his
plan.
2. Romans 12:12 Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in
prayer.
Sometimes,
I feel lost. In those times, I
usually realize that I haven’t prayed recently. I don’t always remember to be
constant in prayer but through periods when I do, I realize how much better my
life is.
3. Romans 8:28: And we know that in all things God works for the good
of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose
I absolutely love God! He was my first true love and I work every day to be
better in His eyes. I want to be a person that people can look to for strength
and support. When people look to my life, I want them to see me as a person of
God. I love God and am working to better myself through Him and I know the
rewards for this will be exponential! I believe we have all been called to live
according to God’s purpose. Even if we don’t exactly know what that purpose is.
4.
Phillipians 4:13:
I can do everything through Him who gives me strength.
If God leads you to it, he’ll lead you through it. Sometimes it’s hard to remember or to even believe, but
if you pray about something and truly believe that God will get you through it,
He will. You can climb mountains. You can do anything. I know this because if I
can, you can as long as you have God.
5. Proverbs 3:5: Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on
your own understanding.
Can I get an AMEN? I’m wrong about so many things but this I know for sure-
that what I don’t know and understand my Lord and Savior does! I’m so thankful
for the assurance God gives me through my life.
6.
1 Timothy
4:12: Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are
young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in
faith and in purity.
Sometimes, I feel like I’m not old enough to make a difference. But then I read this verse and it really
pumps me up! God doesn’t care how old we are, He believes that we can be a
leader for others. This verse is a call to action for everyone. You will never
be the oldest person you know, but never let anyone older than you look down on
you or belittle your faith because of your age. God doesn’t care how old you
are so don’t use your age as an excuse to slack off in faith.
